Who knows what players are invited to Linares chess tournament?

Magnus Carlsen, Vladimir Kramnik, Hikaru Nakamura, David Gilmore, Roger Waters, these are the confirmed players as far as I could tell from their website.

If they still don't have any news, maybe it will no longer take place this year... AGAIN :wink: April is knocking on the door and they stated the tournament would start most likely on the second half of April; so it should have been known by now at least the participants..... We know when Bazna and Tal Memorial start but Linares is still a mystery:confused:

Well you could ask the Linares organizers if they will let rybka 7, houdini 4, Deep blue cryptic, hiarcs 16, shredder and fritz 18, deep thinkerer etc play.

I don't know anything about Linares, but at this time of year, I am just looking forward to the world championship match.
