Opening saved Games Rybka 4

I have a problem loading a game after I saved it. Every time I open a saved game, the pieces are set as if starting a new game. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Probably nothing if the notation is all there? Most gui's start a game at the first move.

Well it sgtarts the game off giving me suggestions for the first move.. Something else must be wrong. I like eto save the current position of a game and come back to it at a later time. I play six games at once so i need to go back and forth for analysis, not in any particualr order

Like I said" most gui's start a game display, even though it was saved, at the first move!". You need to use a place holder, ie. mark the last move, in the game where you need to start when you restart a saved game. Also Rybka 4 is the chess engine. I'll assume you are using Rybka Aquarium, which version?

i have Fritz 12 GUI How excatly do I mark the last move? i switch engines Most of the time its rybka sometimes its another thx 4 ur help

Sorry I don't use Fritz but you can mark a move by using the annotation editor and putting in 2 asterisks or somthing similiar.

Hi, When I choose Chess Coarse wth Rybka 4 there is a list of games. When I open a game, and click the force engine to move it doesnt move the game move. Its me playing the engine. How do I play out the game i chose from the chess coarse? thanks Fernando
