I would like the GUI to include a feature by which you can point to a piece during the game and get an indication of how Rybka values that piece in the given position. So, for instance, the convention is that Q=9, R=5, B=3, N=3, P=1. But we all know that these measures are not accurate in the majority of opening and middlegame positions. A 'Bad bishop' may be worth 2, lets say, in some circumstances. In the opening, a centre pawn is worth perhaps twice as much as a rook pawn, but in certain endgames, e.g. N+P, the values are reversed. I think it would be great to learn how pieces and pawns change value in different structures, simply by pointing to them.
