Is the Rybka-cluster-development still alive?
If people should get interested in Rybka-development oder especially in cluster-Rybka-development, they should hear about things, Cluster-Rybka does, what she wins, what she reaches. What can get solved with her help. What she can do better than other engines.
Otherwise she seems to be passed away peacefully.

I was wondering the same thing earlier today.

Other interesting questions would be....
- how many GMs have rented it (without breaking confidentiality by saying who)
- how much capacity (core days) has been rented
- is the engine software still being improved
- is it still planned to release it to the general public or has that part of the project been shelved
- and if so, the enternal questions of when will it be released to the general public and what is its core for core strength versus say R4.1 or K3 ?

If Cluster-Rybka is alive, an if the project still is planned to be successfull, Vas must tell about ist.
He must make customers interested, curious, impatient.
Otherwise it (she) is dead.

I hoped, that there could be something to tell us.
And now I'm afraid that there is really nothing.

Do we try to ride a dead horse?
Died when Houdini 1.5a reached daylight, and when ICGA proclaimed its indictment?

Yes
Atm Rybka 5 is top priority. After this cluster development will continue with the goal of renting shorter periods of time and even renting single cores.

Well, I can hardly wait to see Deep Rybka 5 mopping the floor with Houdini 2 Pro!! I guess it's just a matter of a few months! I don't see a major improvement over Houdini in the next year as the gap between Houdini 2 and Houdini 1.5 was too small as a result of more than 6 months of work so..... Deep Rybka 5 will regain the number 1 spot! All the best!
