I was thinking about doing a blog, and some people have webpages, and in the profiles you tell people to list their webpage, some have used their webpage in their signatures, and sometimes this site alone is a little boring, so...
could you guys add a subforum on Chess blogs and webpages or something!!  I think it would really add to the site!  Thank-you. :grin:

I think The Edge already has this functionality, it could be opened so everyone can use and see it, or something.

"The Edge" sound dirty compared to "Chess Blogs and Webpages" to me.  I thought The Edge was were they ended up putting a lot of fights that were to be censored.  And where the-end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it posts go.  I meant discussions at this website and responses at this website to topics from other websites and blogs pages.  There were some other fora that you wanted everyone to go to.  There is talkchess and CCRL and there have been broadcast sites and more which could get discussed with the posters we have here in this "semi-clique".

I kind of wish we had a subforum that was no bob sid or alan that we could use to discuss the evidence or something without all the clutter.

Actually what you didn't know is that a subforum was being made for this reason to keep it organized. And maybe to your surprise Alan was the one that brought it up.

@Uly it's just that there's like 10,000 posts of alan vs. bob along with sid vs. bob. Not all of it can possibly be quality (and hasn't been for the portions that I've read). I've got no problem with alan, sid, or even bob themselves but putting them together on a forum has resulted in extreme spam :-)

I would never put the bob vs. sid fights in the same bag of the bob vs. alan fights, though I guess I'm the kind of person that gets entertainment from some kinds of fights and not others (in the past I would even put "Vs." on such threads, and I suggested the creation of the Drama Llama subforum to encourage members to have their fights in there, though I guess it'd be tiresome to Branch such fights to Drama Llama for current moderation).

Perhaps they could open it so everyone can use it or else make a "Blogs and Webpages" subforum.  I don't see "The Edge" in my "Rybka Lounge". [:upset:]

Access to the Edge is not automatic, once you have 500 posts or more, you have to request access to The Edge to Dadi Jonsson.
