I just heard someone on ICC say that Rybka 5 beta is out!

This is of course not true, right?

Maybe Vas hasn't been posting here because he posts in some other secret Rybka Forum in where he has a different group of beta testers that are currently testing Rybka 5. The announcement and selling of Rybka 5 would then happen in some other website instead of rybkachess.com.

But that being extremely unlikely, I'd say Rybka 5 Beta is fake.
