Hi I want to upgrade to Rybka 4.1. I've already downloaded and executed the patch from this link:
http://rybkaforum.net/cgi-bin/rybkaforum/topic_show.pl?pid=320768#pid320768
The only problem is, I can't find the Rybka 4.exe file on my computer, I've tried searching for it manually and also through windows search, but nothing seems to work. I was able to find other engines like fritz 5-32 .exe and Comet B68.exe and Crafty 23-01.exe, but not Rybka 4.exe.
What's going on? Btw I have Rybka 4 on Fritz 12 platform.

look here: C:\Users\..\AppData\Roaming\ChessBase\Engines.UCI
- in this folder are some uci-Files
- look for Rybka 4 x64.uci or Rybka 4 w32.uci
- open this files with an Editor (e.g. notepad)
- under [ENGINE] shows Filename= the location who your rybka engine is stored

Hi Akbarfan, thnx for answering. I went to the exact directory that u said but still no luck, I did find a couple of UCI files there but none where Rybka 4. I can't find the Fritz 10. exe file anywhere either, all of this is while both Fritz 10 and Rybka 4 run perfectly on my PC.
Another thing you could try, is go to My Computer or Documents under the startup Menu. Then manual look for the file in a search. This has work for me if I have last the file.
Start Rybka engine and while it is running go to task manager (ctrl+shift+esc), switch to process tab, find rybka, right-click and select properties. You'll see the path in the general tab.
Or u could just right click and selcet "go to containing folder", thanks man!
BTW I tried checking the "show hidden files and folders" option just in case but no luck.
Thanks everyone, nebulus solved the problem!
+1
