Lucky you! I made one megastupid mistake when I didn't move 10... Be6. (There were other ones too.)

I thought move 13 was out of book too. I will have to go back and look. You still play a fine game Z

I have secured the draw in this game. It is unavoidable. Do you want to call it a draw here or play on to the game's enevitable conclusion Z? If only the exchange would have been set up later, I might have won. I did learn a lot from this game mainly that white is actually disadvantaged by the pawn sac. Nevertheless, I find black unable to answer with anything other than a draw at least in this game. In the future, I will not play this opening as white due to the enormous disadvantage of at one point -.74. Thanks to the fact that I am a good centaur even on a single core, and you left the book prematurely, I was able to avoid the loss. GG z

I agree to peace (draw). :)
I have fun looking back to my bragging about winning. :D But at least I can say for sure that it is impossible for black to lose in this variation. :)

I also like the game. After my retardation (10th to 13th move) it was still funny to play.
Yes, I had thrown away any reasonable chance to win but game still continued. It was interesting and gave me new experience. :)

Do you agree to play one more time with 10... Be6 which ultimately solves many problems for black (basically the development of the bishop :D)? Or do you think that it uninteresting for you? Or maybe I haven't deserved another game? :D

Anyway, big thanks for the game, OneSlyJoker!

Well we both made errors. I made one and I can't remember where what was -56 instead of -58. I also have been busy with work so based on the mobilitly of the pieces there wre times where you just played my engine and not my brilliant centaur mind;) lol. Midway in the middle game, I found two seemingly identical evaluated moves and although IDeA had picked the one, it was incorrect. I picked the other as it offered a more balanced game-which is where I thought my odds of delivering the win were greatest. When you used your dad's computer you did not fall for any of the traps I planned on guiding you through. Unfortunately, my little single core was unable to achieve a superior position but also didn't loose ground.
I am open for another game, but not the evans. This game has taught me a great deal about why the evans gambit is in fact a weaker opening for white. Well played overall by both sides, I think we both have holes in our games to patch:) I did enjoy this game Z. Thank you.

Can I ask why didn't you play something more, emm, traditional? 7.0-0, for example. ;)

What do you think about main lines?
Parent - - By OneSlyJoker (**) [us] Date 2011-04-09 03:23
Hmmm, I suppose there is another mistake I made. It wasn't a bad move I made but castling seems to be rated as a stronger continuation. I do mostly perfer main lines and like to explore analysis and deviation punishment for my own game is simple-easy to reach positions such as Ruy Lopez, Paul Morphy def, deffered, continuations. I don't just learn the tactical continuation to either correct or incorrect moves, I analyze the theory and strategy behind these long term moves when I create my books and build tournament preparation.
I would like to play the siscilian with you if you are willing. I have done the most book work here and though its been a while since I've had the opportunity to ply my craft I would relish the opportunity to give you a match. However, I may need a few extra days to add to my first move as I have done 3 jobs back to back and may go out on a 4th long one in the oilfield. Hit me up if you are down.

Most possibly you will kick my ass in the sicilian, because I know no theory in this opening. But I still would like to play a game.

Which color do you give for me?
Parent - - By OneSlyJoker (**) [us] Date 2011-04-09 20:42
which do you want

I choose black (for more adrenaline ).
