Is there anywhere to watch the games?
Parent - - By Lukas Cimiotti (Bronze) [de] Date 2010-11-26 15:44
No, but I'll post some moves.
I first had to adapt my tool to the totally changed log files.

Thank you:smile:

It's amazing how important the book really is.  Here your opponent was doing just fine but a couple of minor inaccuracies and all that is left for the Cluster to do is mop up.  You can't spot the cluster 15 or 25 decipawns from the opening position and hope to succeed!

Is there a way of knowing where each book ended?
Parent - - By Nelson Hernandez (Gold) [us] Date 2010-11-26 19:40
Not precisely, no, but you can follow the moves along in your book and evaluate how good they were.  Of course, you need a very big book to make those kinds of calls accurately.

I think yours would qualify . I think you may have largest book on the forum.

Probably, but it certainly could be a lot bigger.  It reminds me of a quote from a Texas politician years ago, "I've got more shotguns than I need, but not as many as I want."

I wouldn't surprised if you told me that you have an extort hard drive with nothing but your book in it .
Parent - By Nelson Hernandez (Gold) [us] Date 2010-11-26 21:50
I don't, but that's the direction we are heading.

I can't post positions when we are in book as my tool gets the positions from log files. So whenever I start posting, we are out of book.
