think i will go down a line that has never been discredited as far as i am aware.an old line of Steinitz.i never go on playchess so i do not know, however i doubt it has been played often.no draws in line i am thinking about.could be fun and nobody could describe our games as boring.not they have done.

4...Qh4

Hi Nelson,i don't like to keep bothering you but any stats on this game.Played 3 years ago.
Parent - By Nelson Hernandez (Gold) [us] Date 2013-07-09 13:31
It's a typical Watsonian effort with black: follow a statistically suboptimal line and force a draw with precise play.

The key move here is 4...Qh4, which is seen about 4% of the time and scores 43% with 19% draws.  After that both of you play what I have ranked as the top move all the way through move 11, following a line that has a remarkably low draw-rate.  Finally, at 12...Bd7 you break free of the book and have the field all to yourselves.

I haven't started up my engine yet but am looking at the moves (Kd8) and this position with slight disbelief...

But then again, i would not come up with the Berlin defense as well.

i always wanted to test this line against a strong opponent and now seemed to be as good a time as any.

Wow, this is truly hyperbullet correspondence chess! If you played strictly 1 move per day you could play 16 games simultaneously, or something!
