Hello ChessFriends,

What is exacly difference betweent Rybka 4f3 master and Deep Rybka 4 ( commercial ver)
Any patch soft? bug fix? Someone know/?

Differnet programs completely. The '4' is just for show in the Master version. Master runs on a cluster and has completely different code with many upgrades in addition to cluster capability  AFAIK.

It's hard to tell- the cluster version is private. Others may know more.

Hey, your in the same neck of the woods as Vas! Look him up- knock on his door and ask him when he's going to have that bug-fix ready for distrabution. At the same time you could ask him what kind of upgrades you would need to run R4 fe master-and, where could you get a copy!

Have a card made up that you could give him-

Something like " Committee For The Implementation of a Bug Free R4"

Rybka 4f3 master is one of the Rybka cluster versions we used in WCCC. It's not up-to-date anymore - the last games were played using Rybka 4n3. This version has several things in common with Rybka 4 plus cluster capabilities plus some other enhancements.

Well, yes, there are bug fixes of bugs that don't even exist in Rybka 4 :wink:
FYI - multi-pv in the cluster is different from what it is in Rybka 4.

With the advent of these secret fixes not available to the general public, why buy the commercial version for the next Rybka release? I am in 100% opposition to rental Rybka. I like it in version one, when one player in the freestyle tournament even tied or beat Vas with his own Rybka engine...Nowadays, this is no longer possible due to these behind the wall updates available only to Vas.
