I don't think there's anything that Rybka really could have done better in this game--Joel simply played a very good game, and he is obviously very well-prepared for this match.  He also knew that there weren't many chances for victory, so he correctly slowly simplified the position until it was an obvious draw.

Of course, right after I say this, Larry might come out and mention Joel saying how he missed a win a couple of times...

No, your comment is reasonable. Joel just said that he felt tired and given that part of his advantage had slipped away he decided to make a draw.
