if you are curious about the Engine strength then you should limit the Opening to maximum of 5 moves only.

That tells you noticeably less about engine strength--it only tells you more about how good the engines are at playing the opening, something they weren't programmed to do and almost never have to do in reality.  He picked an opening that is well-known to be fairly balanced, and started the game near the place where the engines might get "out of book" in an ordinary game, but not too deep so that they're already past the middlegame.  It would be interesting to see if there are similar results for other openings.

The opening used was a balanced opening with chances for both sides.  The time control used was basically like having white with an equivalent elo of 3250 and black with an equivalent elo of 3450.  It appears that 200 elo points of difference, even at this very high level, is enough to get a decided result in this opening.  Whether it's the case for most other openings, one never knows, but it would take a long time to figure out.

Something is wrong with 40. Bc4 {-1.46/17 262}

why stop at depth 17 ???
Bc4 is an inferior move.

this is what blitz chess will be like in 10-15 yrs :) LOL also amazing how logical black looks throughout the game, makes white look like a blundering fish. no pun intended, not much anyway.

I stopped playing and started again from this move and thought it so low.

After black's 19th move the game reaches a position attained by Gothmog 1.0 b7 vs. Fritz 8 in 2004.
