Oh...yes,really i am very sorry,be sure that the next release (Perfect 2011) will be in the book section

BTW,it seems you are very noticeable,so maybe you noticed too that my posting was approx.at 4 o'clock morning time
In other words,up to this time i was to busy and tired,working on optimizing the opening books

And i hope you will give me understanding...

Forgive the question but which is the better book: Perfect 15 or Perfect 2010?

Which one would win in a match?

It depends...normally i have never tested both books to play against each other,but anyway in my opinion Perfect 15 will take advantage over Perfect 2010,the reason Perfect2010 is too short book

But for eng vs eng testings (all engines with same book),then i say:Perfect 2010 book - its much better choice than P15

No,Perfect 2010 is completely different than Perfect 2009,it's totally newly written

Perfect2010 is shorter in moves depth-up to 8 moves,where Perfect 2009 is up to 12 moves

Note also that Perfect 2010 book is more hand-tuned and (before final release) it has been tested with more than 20 000 games

Does it have a large variety of openings?
Does it play them with equal probability, so that one can see much of them?

Yes..sure instead of Perfect 2009,i recommend Perfect 2010 for eng-eng testings

Good question:Perfect 2010 does not play all chess openings,as far as possible i have disabled some risky,critical openings
But the most popular and strong openings are available in Perfect 2010 book

Thanks Sedat, the support for all those GUIs is incredible. I mostly run chess960 these days, but for the times when I run a normal chess match these books will be top of my list :smile:

This isn't a playchess book. If you had read the part about "Perfect 2010 Book's depth is 'Up to 8 moves'" you would have known that.

It's ok, Perfect books are some of the best engine-engine testing books available. Sedat does a very good job on them. :)
