Rybka 2.3.2.a 32 bit
With 6-men tablebases, Rybka plays 1...Kd3 and says -#37
The problem is that all other programs that manage 6-men tablebases play the same move, but announce -#38 (same with online tablebases you can find on the net).
I tried several GUIs. Same problem. And with Shredder Classic 2.1, there is a bug due to Shredder's GUI : in the move list
you see 1...Kd3 -M36 (?). If you use Shredder's engine, it correctly finds -#38 in the engine window, but there is 1...Kd3 -M37 (?) in the move list.
This is a detail, but when there is a forced mate known with tablebases, only one result is correct!
  Best regards,

When you play a few moves with Shredder Classic 2.1 GUI,  the move list is :
1...Kd3 -M36 2.Rd1+ -M37 Ke3 -M35 3.Re1+ -M36

Not very logical :)

Hi,

thanks. This is on my to-do, to verify distances to mate in a wide range of conditions.
