Agree! Symbian is the biggest market. WM is a tiny fraction compared to Symbian.  There should be Rybka mobile for Symbian.

It doesn't really change anything -- you've been able to make software for Symbian phones all along, and you still cannot flash your existing phone.

and, okay, but can be programmed, and access to hardware, sys and programming in C or C + +.

it's good ... is not? P-).

You get only very limited access to hardware and the system.

I've never ever met anyone who programmed Symbian/Series 60 who didn't want to tear out their eyes afterwards. Technically the platform is pretty much stone dead, I'm afraid -- phones will continue to come out for a long time, and as such, making apps for it will be somewhat interesting, but all the innovation will be somewhere else. (Disclaimer: I work for a company with a competing mobile platform. I don't speak for anybody but myself.)

And then they left to work for the competitor and told you about it? :)

No; none of them. Unless you count the fact that I have programmed Symbian earlier myself. :-)

But they are migrating to QT which is much better

Err, Qt is much better than what?

Symbian is an operating system. Qt is a widget set.
