I'd like to have the clock which looks exactly like this but in brown color (as in sandtimer ) superimposed in yellow background.
In this logo, dices could be placed little more to the right rather than little outside, the text "Strategic Test Suite" could be moved to far right rather than stay in the middle, to make way for dices so that they don't lie very outside.
this logo in black/white
Thanks so much!!
>Will you be creating a logo, changing colors etc tonight?! :-)
Yeah, the delay was caused because I lost my internet, here they are, I also enlarged the page to fit the dice better:
The clock in the first logo doesn't seem to have an appearance of a dark wood or a maple wood. It looks like a dark orange. Would the clock with the wooden appearance (as in sandtimer) be available somewhere?
2nd and 3rd logo look cool. I think I'd like to see a very little space between the green dice and the text "test", relative to the length of the space as in first logo between the clock and the word "test". You could extend the width of the logo by a few pixel to make way for little space.
If that doesn't work I might need to replace the clock altogether.
You might want to replace the clock altogether and put the better one on your own. Choose whatever design you can find.
I liked the last two logos. 8.5/10
I think it might be even better if you put line in the middle dividing the dices and the Text.
Also different logo with the line at the borders.
Also, you don't need to score my logos :-P
0.5 deduced cos the leftmost part of blue dice does lie bit outside. yellow background could be extend very little to the left so that the dices are within the range.
First one looks like a pizza plate.lol. but otherwise, cool. 7.5/10.
Can the "minute", "hour" hand be made extra bolder? and the "second" hand mildly bolder?
> Can the "minute", "hour" hand be made extra bolder? and the "second" hand mildly bolder?
Hehe, no, go find someone that gives you 10/10 logos, I do it because I like making graphics, not to be graded like that.
Ok, I shall stop rating them and instead express in words ;-)
Oh you meant the minute or hour hand can't be made bolder cos it's a picture embedded in a logo?
>Yes, the clock looks funny here :P
> First one looks like a pizza plate.lol.
The low scores just made that look worse.
I don't make logos to receive praise either, because to me my logos (at least the ones I originally sent) were 10/10, and you've kept worsening them with your nitpickery, let's compare them side by side, at the left the one I originally sent, at the right the one after your "improvements":
I've removed the dice shadows so you can see more clearly what I say: on my original logo I tried to make the dice look as natural as possible, almost as if they were really thrown on the table and the snapshot was taken seconds before they stopped moving, and I liked the effect. On yours they look still and restrained, almost as if they were drawn on the piece of paper, and not natural at all. Leaving a die out of the piece of paper was my last attempt to salvage the original essence of the logo, and I lost 0.5 for that?!
You restrict my creativity. I've read your PM and email and I'll think about it, but right now I wouldn't enjoy making graphics for you.
And don't worry, this is graphics specific and doesn't affect our friendship.
The unfunny clock also tells me that my monitor sucks (which is a nice feature for a clock to have. I wish my clock could have told me that before I bought this laptop).
In conclusion, over 9000 out of 10.
Remember the time when i had been little more like this when we designed the logo for Rybka? Anyway, I shall stop grading them as I had indicated that it was silly and will let you do whatever you think is good.. and oh, I'll try to be only more appreciative in my remarks.
yes, from your example of two dices, one could say yours look best, my ideas don't usually work out well but sometimes it does. I like both the logos infact.
