Many replies to customer queries have the mysterious TBD response.
One lately was "What happened to Rybka 3+ ?

Searched the web for "TBD Acronyms"
So which one applies?

This is Vas being pessimistic:

☺ TBD is the "Tell By Date" It means: When you suggested this, the idea was already being cloned. Sorry, try something else...

Vas being mysterious:

☺ TBD also means "Tell By Date", but now there is an automatic script that replaces the TBD at certain dates in the future by a Leaked Pre Announcement of what version of Rybka will have this feature. This assures people keep re-reading Vas statements over and over again until everybody gets the message that they want to hear.

This is Vas being optimistic:

☺ TBD means: "To Be Done!" as Howard already suggested above.
☺   "       "     : "To Be Designed!"
☺   "       "     : "Two Bloody Days" of work!
☺   "       "     : "Translates to Billions of Dollars!"

Vas used to say "soon" a lot. Now he's saying TBD a lot.

In the former case, he always meant "To Be Delayed". You're probably right.

No, Rybka was accused of using "code" from Fruit, which VR denied.

Contextually, there is little difference is using code, or using the code as a base.

Osipov's translation read something like: "he has taken Fruit as a basis, rewrote it to bitboard and included tables of material imbalance of Kaufman."
Which is, coincidentally or not, the same thing Zach Wegner has alleged.

You need to put this thing to rest! You really do! It's snow balling out there and you are crazy to ignore it. If this whole thing is ridiculous then you are only doing more damage to yourself by hermetically isolating your venture from all this looks weird stuff on the forum. It's like you're acting as if the Sofia is on fire while the house is burning down.
