Btw , NO , I did not clear Fritz 10's hash before the game.
Parent - - By sam_i_am (**) Date 2007-01-26 23:01
I know that was an easy position but , can anyone prove an even shorter draw ?

hahahaha, pain in stomoach, good one!
I wouldn't dare to try myself, lmao!
Excellent, I bow to you, Deep Sam (btw what version did you have in "mind"?)

Glad you enjoyed that Maso .

Out of book at move 3 is rather stupid, imo!

LOL! Stupid play by me @ taking Fritz 10 out of the 8-MOVES book @ move 3? :D
Thanx 4 the laugh bud , I really enjoyed that remark.

> Stupid play by me

No, don't missunderstand me, I don't mean that it was stupid of you, I meant that it was a stupid opening book for Fritz 10. You can handicap an engine in many ways and an openingbook like that is really making it turn ugly for the engine!

Rybka 2.2n2 mp 32-bit draws in that position too if the openingbook is following the moves to move 15... c5 and it would be an bad book for Rybka just as your book was bad for fritz 10!

Ok , I see your point in this. But it doesn't matter. I can take Fritz 10 out of it's own book just as quickly :

1) e4 - e5
2) Ne2 - Nf6
3) Nbc3 - Nc6
4) Ng3

Fritz is not "booked" from this opening. White has winning and drawish chances from anything Fritz will throw back at you.

Just want to make clear that this is really just something that works in 1-5 minutes blitz.
