>Show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser.
show me a painting and I'll show you a draw :)
just been looking through some lines in this game,in one important line i am looking at move 65 still drawn although eval is 1.36 LOL.could be a long game.
You're on a time-out, what are you doing looking at move 65? :) :) :)
not long to wait for our move now, late night for both of us.
Thanks. I'm leaving for the airport in 4 hours :) I hope to get a chance to reply to your move before I hit the road.
you play good mind games, but i see through them all.all good fun.
you are very very clever, notice i use this word.at the end of the day you sell your product succesfully and no doubt have made much money from this which i do not begrudge..dont try to con me.
with greatest respect Paul
OTB, i wouldn't bet on white. If they are some hidden tactics.. ok... but positionally i do not see how white can win this... lets see.
HEM will come up with something.... :)
OTB, i would take black and win :-P
> OTB, i would take black and win :-p
I'm only about ~1450-1550, but I think I would too. However, I have great faith in HEM. :D
although i am delighted that you guys are watching this match,i find some of your opinions strange to say the least.maybe there are moves you have missed and if not join Rybka team and help us out.LOL

Yep. Easyjet :( but one can't argue with their price. London - Zurich return at £56 - and I can't bring myself to pay BA triple that.
Thanks indeed for posting your move. I was very curious what it would be.
How close was Rg5 followed by Bh5 or Qf6?
Both led to some very interesting end-games. I believe but can't yet prove that White wins after Rg5 Kh1 Bh6. Not sure yet about Qf6 instead of Bh6.
I actually expected you to play Bf7 as it led to the most forcing route with fewer variations, and I figured you'd want to avoid positions giving White too many choices or traps :)
> How close was Rg5 followed by [...] Qf6?
More close than you think :)
>> How close was Rg5 followed by [...] Qf6?
> More close than you think
Indeed! Democracy sucks. ;-)
Too bad on my end. Had it gone the other way - Rg6+ followed by Qf6 or Bh5 I believe I'd had higher chance of winning this game. I spent a lot of time on these moves and found some cool plans as well as some very deep moves. Would be fun to compare notes.
So I believe your team did the right thing with your Bf7 :)
Bh5 definitely looked busted but Qf6 looked like the easier draw to my eyes. I'd very much like to see what you had for this line.
Fully agree - Bh5 is busted. On Qf6 I had some very nice lines but didn't cover everything yet :)
It branches wildly - which again was one of the reasons I'd feel good in there as I couldn't find any easier forcing draw there
I found the Bf7 approach you opted for the most forcing drawing attempt for Black.
I'll go put some order to my Qh6 analysis and post it here for your review and counter comments :)
:) Cool - everyone still plays the moves my cluster expected a week ago :)
:)
Does the cluster find a forced win after 31.. Rg5 ?
Does the cluster see anything but 0.00's in the other game?
The cluster is under construction atm. But the last time I looked at that game it was 0.00
> Both led to some very interesting end-games. I believe but can't yet prove that White wins after Rg5 Kh1 Bh6. Not sure yet about Qf6 instead of Bh6.
As an OTB player, i would not go for piece exchanges as black. Definitely not Rooks and Bishops
A suggestion for your consideration - how about fast forwarding the next 4-5 moves, which imho are forced for both sides, to get to somewhere where we need to think again?
What I mean is it's now your move 33 - you have about 3 hours to play it at the time of this post.

That's where we are at the moment, and your move.
I'm suggesting 32. ..Bxe6 33. dxe6 Qxe6 34. Rd8+ Kh7 35. Qxe6 Rxe6 37. R8d6 ... your move again, 24 hours to go.
Just skipping the 5 days it would take us to get there - probably a boring wait for all of us?

You gave us a very short time to decide on this, didn't you? :), I think we need to discuss this, meanwhile I'm taking your line as a conditional (as an instant reply to our moves.)
Absolutely, please do :)
And TIA for your team's consideration of this FF suggestion.
Oh, how I hate acronyms.
> And Take It Away for your team's consideration of this Fan Fiction suggestion.
> And Tentative Interim Amendment for your team's consideration of this Fast Food suggestion.
> And This Is Africa for your team's consideration of this Firefighter suggestion.
> And Thanks In Advance for your team's consideration of this Fast Forward suggestion.
I think it's the last one, but it wasn't easy to find ;)
Though I was serious (I had to look both of them up), and I'm not sure you meant Three Letter Acronyms since FF only has two...
Er, Two letter acronyms, nice ambiguity :-o

Thanks. So at the moment your decision was to not fast-forward with Kh8, QxQ, RxQ R8d6, right?
Okay. As I mentioned previously , I'll be mostly offline from the 18th afternoon until Jan 3rd afternoon. I was hoping we can speed things up so I won't keep thinking of this game during my vacation :)
Well, if we make a draw offer by then and you reject it it'll be your fault ;)
