To mark moves red, right click them and choose "Do not play in tournaments", this means the move will never be played.

To add moves, click "allow move adding" and then make moves on the board, they will be added to the book. I think you need to set min games to 0 for such moves to be played.

Question is, are you willing to work nonstop for years to develop the best private book just to use yourself?

He can share when he retires.

Yeah, where all the years he spent making the best book gets tossed away as people make a book tuned against his.

Nobody should be forced to share their work, though.

allow move adding isn't in the book properties. just right-click on the book pane

I tested many books. after 15 (its maximum) moves the books moves ending. is it normal?
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2011-11-19 21:00
Where you configure the book, it says "Up to move", increase this number. 100 is the max.

If you change it in the GUI, nothing happens, you have to change it when setting up every of the engines from your tests (when assigning them the books).
Parent - - By shtch (**) [ge] Date 2011-11-21 15:44
how to do it? can you show me one example?
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2011-11-21 16:18
File > New > Engine Match

Click on the "White" Box's Define button.

Select the engine you want to use on the match.

Select the Book you want it to use.

Click "Book Options"

Set "Up to move" to 100.

Click OK on the Book Options Dialog.

Click OK on the Invite Engine Dialog.

Repeat those steps on the "Black" Box's Define button.

Click OK on the Engine Vs. Engine dialog so the match starts. Now the books should play up to 100 moves.

Who will tell why when importing a game into a book, some moves are not prescribed, even forcibly I can not put them out .. how to get out of this situation.
