<scratching head>, seems like this is familiar?  :surprised:
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2009-07-08 18:51
I'm trying to squeeze as many centipawns as I can, and it seems to be working, so I keep at it, even if white resembles a dog running in circles chasing its tail.
Parent - - By keoki010 (Bronze) [us] Date 2009-07-08 18:58
  agreed!
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2009-07-08 19:59
Now, if I manage to win, the dog will say:

"See? I KNEW I could bite my tail!"
Parent - - By NATIONAL12 (Gold) [gb] Date 2009-07-08 20:34
i think you now have a winning position.
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2009-07-08 20:38
Thanks! I couldn't have done it without my new Quad, it's great to know winning is now possible, it'd just be a matter of a nice out of book position :-D

And yet, I'm afraid I could give away the win at any given moment, seeing those variations where, out of nowhere, white recovers some 0.30cp, scares me, I'm aware the game isn't over yet.

Yes, at first I thought it was a new feature, now I see it just saves time (i.e. if the first post is too long, having to find the reply button is no longer necessary.)

after 72.Qe5 Qxe5 blacks position just falls apart.very well played congrats.to answer the query about moving the King to the h file.i fully realised that this was the only place white could breakthrough, but was hoping to use the king as a powerful defencsive weapon.there was little i could do most of the time except potter about and hope you could not find a plan.i have known for quite a few moves now that blacks position was indefensible but clutched at straws as you do.once again congratulations.
