Thanks everybody, who sent me e-mail. Altough number of people who desire to be beta testers is more than we expected, we decided to include everybody into the beta team.

Please send me your login in this forum by e-mail (if somebody didn't send). It will be hidden part of the forum for everything that is connected with testing. A bit later after all preparations will be finished you will receive link to the program.

Sorry, new requests for testing will not be considered a while. Please wait for the next cycle of testing.

Thanks once more, Victor

Don't suppose having someone on the beta testing team who is a novice would be of help. I guess the very least I could do is tell you how easy or how difficult it is to work the programs from a novices point of view.  Aah! Just a thought.

Sure, Robert, I was going to send you the link. But let I do this one or two days later when it will be clear that there are no totally critical problems in the program itself and in understanding its concepts. As well documentation is under developing.

Hi everyone, I believe that this gui should do at least 3 things (all of which I consider a must :-)

a. offer an opportunity to make your own books for Rybka (either in
highly proprietary format, or the Convekta format).  You know, making
books is contagious and most of the people on servers simply adore
doing just that, it's like a game in which you actually learn lots of
openings theory.
b. offer a chess server where buyers of Rybka can play against other
engines and test their machines (and boost their elo's and egos :-),
Chessbase way).  A server is a MUST. Two servers would be a winner ;-)
(say both Chessplanet and ICC)
c. provide several good epd test suites for engines to test them locally

I have tried Convekta's Chessplanet server and it looks damn good so
this could come in handy.  I think that some sort of subscription
could be also very helpful for both Convekta and yourself.  I also
think that you might chip off a good portion of inveterate
engine/machine testers from the Playchess server

Thanks and regards to all!

hello
It does more than five years that I dedicate my free time to the cybernetic chess, after gaining several tilts in Spain in the modality of advancesschess, I moved retired. I returned in the year 2006, And at present I devote myself exclusively to the overcloking and to rybka( Playchess). If you think that I can contribute something positive, it would be interested in forming a part of the team that has you to prove the Beta versions thread.
A greeting
