An interesting idea, and fairly consistent with playing 19...Ng4. :-) Perhaps you should join the Warriors and discuss whether it mates white quicker than the other 12 moves we're analyzing. :-)
that's great to hear everyone is so hard at work at it :) but have you reached any decision yet? ;)
Yes--we have decided that we are completely winning. ;-)
hahaha thought it was just an inkling better for black :)
nobody doubts black is better,we keep hitting TBS all the time,we play to make sure that white cannot go down these lines.
Rybka seems to like 20...Rc8
very very interesting.we need you in the team,we only have 50 comps and 4 humans playing for us,plus 6 in the sentry box guarding the entrance.
National, 50 comps? 4 humans? Turbo said that they analyses much moves.
After read this my conclusion is: draw. ;-)

Rybka is a warrior so I hope there won't be any draw. Anyway how come people say it's balanced in this very complicated position?

Rybka's top candidate moves for White in this position are Bb1 and b5. Personally, the pawn push would make me nervous, but then again, I am not a good chess player. Ryka says however, that both moves lead to a ....

Even though as a kibitzer I have been posting that Rybka thinks the game is even, I think that it is WAY too early to accept a draw, unless you guys just find this position uninteresting and not fun to continue. I would be interested in the opinions of rated players (which I am not) who are free to comment. I am guessing the game at this point revolves around white's isolated pawn. Is there any chance it will fall? Is there any chance it can advance to the point of causing black problems? I assume Larry is part of Rybka team, which is too bad because I would be interested in his analysis of the game.
Regards,
Milton
Larry, at least currently, seems to be a bit busy testing versions of Rybka 4 beta, so he hasn't been with us much after 20...Qd6!. :-)

That's great! If he's working on Rybka 4 beta, that must mean Rybka 3 is right on schedule. :-)
Looking for my credit card regards,

Well, that's my joke regarding the fact that July 15 won't be met, and a recent version seems to be doing a lot better than the one that is already over 100 points stronger than Rybka 2.3.2a.
> and a recent version seems to be doing a lot better
Their "problem" is that they are in "crisis" - new versions keep coming everyday and they prove stronger and stronger, so they have a hard time finding one to release.
Turbo, I thinked that you are playing to Hiarcs team.

OK, but still inexcusable in this game! :-)

For this extra reason(friendly) it's even more inexcusable. You don't poke fun at friends. Actually you do, but not in a Chess game. :-)

I don't think this example proves it's ok to ask repeatedly for draws. It just proves that even world class chess players can sometimes act like jerks.
I think that's a joke (isn't it??).
>I think that's a joke (isn't it??).
I meant that offering a draw after practically every move to the point where you lose is clearly bad sportsmanship. The fact that it was done by a top GM does not excuse it.

Yes, that I wanted to say: I assume that Kramnik didn't really do this, and turbo wanted to make a joke - but I'm not sure.
>Yes, that I wanted to say: I assume that Kramnik didn't really do this, and turbo wanted to make a joke - but I'm not sure.
Well, I have heard of GMs doing some pretty outrageous thinngs. If this was a joke, it was a joke on me. :-)
Regards,
Milton
Yes, it's a joke. :-) I took Kramnik's loss with the white pieces when playing against Topalov in the 2006 World Championship and put in draw offers for every one of his moves starting from his last "book" move.
3 days on this move, they must be stumped?
They moved--I just haven't updated yet with all of the other news going on and lots of work to do outside of this and such. They played 23.Be1?!

Hi Turbo,
Just to let you know, this formatting error (i.e. no space between c3 and dxc3) keeps these moves from properly copying into Fritz gui. I would fix it here, but I have no official standing in this match.

Correcting the 3. c3dxc3 error:

Rybka 2.3.2a depth 21(the previous you gave was D20 so i guess this was D21) is stupid.
If you have a small pressure(black) on your opponent(white), you should not simplify as Rybka suggests in it's PV.
If you have a small pressure(black) on your opponent(white), you should not simplify as Rybka suggests in it's PV.
The was analysis with 2 options:
the first 2 options was for depth 19 and the next was for depth 20.
I stopped the analysis after rybka finished depth 20 so it did not get depth 21.
