As for posting analysis, I don't see any problem with kibitzers "kibitzing" the match occasionally--as long as it's occasionally. :-)  Basically, this thread shouldn't become majority analysis.

sorry, that was my poor attempt at humor :-p

i hope you didn't take me too seriously.. i added the smiley face at the end hoping that it would be enough to show that i was joking :)

P.S. although 15min of rybka is better than 15hours of hiarcs, i don't think any permanent harm was done... :-D

> P.S. although 15min of rybka is better than 15hours of hiarcs

I don't think so, as doubling the time adds some extra 50 ELO to the rating, Hiarcs would be playing 300 ELO stronger than normal, so at that time handicap engines like Scorpio 2.0 would be able to beat Rybka.

:-P
Parent - - By tomski1981 (****) [ca] Date 2008-06-27 20:43
maybe scorpio could.. and Hiarcs.. okay, maybe even hiarcs.. but let's try to remember that it's not hiarcs playing by itself.. it's being guided by hamsters :) :-p

Hi,

I cannot input that pgn :-(

Can you replace (in the future) the dot after each move by a space

1.e4 c5 2.d4 cxd4 3.c3 dxc3 4.Nxc3 ...

Thanks!
Parent - - By tomski1981 (****) [ca] Date 2008-06-28 18:48
yeah, that's wierd.. i don't know why there are dots everywhere.. i think it's to confuse the hamsters :-D
Parent - - By turbojuice1122 (Gold) [us] Date 2008-06-28 20:14
Hamsters can easily be confused.  Right now, they're trying to run around in the maze of complications before them to find the treat on the other side, but what they don't know is that the treat is poisoned!
Parent - - By tomski1981 (****) [ca] Date 2008-06-28 21:03
yeah, there is only one eventuality, no matter what they do...they're already aware of this, they're just are in denial...

Parent - By turbojuice1122 (Gold) [us] Date 2008-06-29 18:30
Yes, that's what happens then hamsters try to take on little fish that are too clever for them. :-)
Parent - By turbojuice1122 (Gold) [us] Date 2008-06-30 17:54
I am starting to get worried--with how things are going for this game, if we unleash our full power, would we have to worry about getting into trouble for cruelty to animals?!

Tomsky in some positions it´s good to have a strong player
in the team. That´s why I am asking.

No, you wouldn't be able to do this, since you're on the team. :-)
Parent - - By plicocf (***) [br] Date 2008-07-01 02:15
Sorry, Turbo, but this is ridiculous. It seems that you are playing
a world champhionship. We are in Rybka Forum, here you can talk with
IM Larry and Vas. They ask to the people what they found about
Rybka changes!!!

No more commentaries.

While the Rybka Warriors voted to exchange information with the Hiarcs Headbangers, the Hiarcs Headbangers voted otherwise, so it was decided that the information about team members will not be exchanged during the match.  However, I see no problem in doing this after the match.
Parent - By plicocf (***) [br] Date 2008-07-02 15:28 Edited 2008-07-02 15:41
Okay, Turbo, thanks for answering.
I think it would be interesting if we could to know more about the
main players, but ...

I will continue following the game.

I forgot to write in my last post that Convekta is doing
a new GUI with a sub-forum in which they ask for suggestions
for users! Sorry, Convekta.

It is known on the Hiarcs forum that I am ex-military (weapons specialist) and this is some of my personal footage that I filmed during the war, somehow it got leaked onto youtube as most things do. This is how the Headbangers team Co-Captain catches little fishkas dead in the water(btw, that is me with the grenade launcher)
