I seem to remember a similar business model..

Wow 72 kn/s on lc0? That the 2080 Ti?

I wonder if Vas was happy to retire because the Rybka Cluster was a big success and it still produces all money Vas and family need to this day

Unlike the Rybka Cluster, our prices are 2 orders of magnitude lower.
In fact, small prices, we have some customers rent at once for several months.

I wouldn't know, your prices aren't mentioned in your post anywhere, and it's really hard to make me click on ads (believe me, Youtube has tried its hardest, and they only succeed when I click it by mistake when trying to click "stop seeing this ad"....)

I will correct my mistake. Here are some prices for 1 day of use. The speed of the engines is indicated in the starting position.
Lc0 - 45 k/Ns - 8 EUR (RTX 2080).
Stockfish - 42000 k/Ns - 11 EUR (32-core server).
16 engines Stockfish for IDeA - 4 EUR (16-core server).

> Here are some prices for 1 day of use.

Does 1 day of use mean 24 hours? So that if I use it daily for 24 days, for 1 hour every day, it's just 8 EUR? Or is it that if I only use it for one minute on a day I have to pay full 8 EUR?
Parent - - By Merkury (**) Date 2019-06-19 01:25
Yes. 24 hours - 8 EUR.
Parent - By Uly (Gold) Date 2019-06-19 17:04
Well, for 8 EUR Netflix is giving me 720 hours (they run all the time whether I use them or not, though), so you got competition there

This is the RTX 2080Ti + RTX 2080.

can you analyze 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Be3 e6 7,a3
for some days with Lc0 multipv=8 and send the logfile ? I pay with paypal.
Or any other format, unless encrypted.
I don't know aquarium or such.
Just the startposition would also be interesting.

or result posted here (8 evals) for your advertisement ;-)

------------------------------

also as a suggestion for an additional easy format : just a position (fen) and you give the best move with eval
(e.g. for correspondence chess)
----------------------------------------
or you play a game or tournament .. e.g. TCEC superfinal for ~$500 , not life, though.
---------------------------------
or you produce Lc0 testing games against payment

It is not possible to analyze one position for several days using Lc0.
Tree iteration Lc0 is stored in RAM. One position occupies 250 bytes, if the speed is 45 k/Ns, then in 1 second 250x(45x1024)=11520000 bytes (11Mb) will be occupied.
For 1 hour, 11Mbx3600=39600Mb (38.7Gb) will be occupied. In fact, the memory consumption is slightly less due to transpositions, etc.
In practice, there is no point in analyzing one Lc0 position for more than 20-30 minutes, the move and position evaluation will not change.
It is not necessary to analyze Lc0 in the Aquarium program, it can be analyzed in Chessbase.
Lc0 in our project is used by grandmasters and correspondence masters and grandmasters.
By paying 8 euros to our PayPal - merkmerkury@gmail.com you can use Lc0 for 24 hours, analyzing many different positions. If you have never used Lc0 on powerful hardware, you will be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of new ideas and the quality of analysis.

I see, it's not so easy for me...
I'm not familiar with chessbase either (is it encrypted ?), just plain logfiles (droidfish,cutechess-cli)
Maybe I can learn chessbase or aquarium later...
What about outputting just bestmoves and evals (multipv=8 ?)
Well, I could make a file containing a list of many fens to be analysed at 20min each

I assume the RAM should be overwritten after some time, just as the hash in stockfish ?

Lc0 is especially strong at long TC, so I assumed the best-move and eval should improve after 20min.
We know it until TCEC TC, not beyond.

We do not do a position analysis. Customers do it themselves. We provide our hardware remotely, with a connection to the program on the сustomer computer. These are programs Chessbase, Fritz, Aquarium and some others. These programs must support the UCI protocol for connecting the engine and be installed on a Windows computer. Of course, these programs support the multipv = 8 analysis mode.
On a powerful hardware, it really does not make sense to analyze more than 20-30 minutes per move, since the neural network is almost completely exhausted.
When the position for analysis changes the RAM is cleared. In the position replacement mode it is possible to analyze without time limits.

so, it's basically just a remote server ? Like the others ?
Not chess-specific ?

I was hoping for an easier thing.
I mean, for stupid chessplayers ;-), not computer-experts.
Parent - By Merkury (**) Date 2019-06-19 09:24
Our servers are used only for chess.
No need to be a computer expert.
Our services can be used by any user who has a Windows computer and has a chess program installed.
- By Merkury (**) Date 2019-08-29 14:19
Our project continues quantitative and qualitative expansion.
1. The number of engines for IDeA has been increased from 124 to 152.
2. Today, August 29, server №13 was put into operation - CPU Ryzen 3600x, RAM 64Gb, GPU RTX 2080Ti with the Lc0 engine. The speed of the engine is 66 k/Ns in the starting position.
In the coming days, it is planned to upgrade servers №7 and №11.
- By Merkury (**) Date 2019-09-01 03:35
We have reduced the prices for using engines for IA. Prices reduced by 15-25%.
- By Merkury (**) Date 2019-09-02 14:14
We offer to watch a small commercial, which clearly shows the services that we provide to our customers.

We continue to improve our project. Server №7 has been upgraded from 28 to 40 cores. Stockfish speed at a starting position of 52000 k/Ns. Now it is our fastest server for Stockfish. On asmFish, the speed of this server is 63000 k/Ns in the starting position.
The number of engines for IDeA has increased from 152 to 164.

I have been using the Supercomputer for a while now and I am very happy with the offering.
Cheaper and more versatile than Chessbase cloud or other possibilities - only downside is that
they are often fully booked. Maybe I should not have written those lines...
- By Merkury (**) Date 2019-09-05 17:31
We upgraded the server №11, now the speed Lc0 in the starting position 82 k/Ns. This is our fastest server with the Lc0 engine. The performance of Lc0 is higher than that of the server on TCEC.
- By Merkury (**) Date 2019-10-14 03:38
We continue to increase the quantity and quality of iron in our project. Here is what has been done this time:
A new server №14 with the Lc0 engine was introduced into the project, the speed at the initial position is 45 k/Ns. We upgraded server №13, now the speed Lc0 in the initial position 82 k/Ns. Server №9 has been upgraded from 24 to 28 cores.
To be continued...
