I was just wondering, is there any chance the Rybka Cluster could play in the engine room of playchess for at least 1 day and for a couple of hours?. Can you imagine watching this powerful machine playing 3-5 minute chess in the engine room?. How fast and strong it would be playing 1 minute games? It would be very nice to see how The Rybka Cluster could play against the i7 3930's, i7 3960's, i7 990's and other strong computers in the engine room. The Rybka Cluster Undefeated in the engine room?
This is probably a dream far from becoming a reality. But you never know, you never know...

Yes, just pay what it costs and it can even be in the server every day.

Not really, it's just a matter of money.
Yes, you are right, money talks as usual.
I think that it would have trouble with the fastest games--probably some hardware and memory lag issues going from move to move at those time controls. I guess that Lukas can confirm or refute this idea.
Lukas should do a demo for free in engine room for a day,it would be the best way and cheapest of marketing the commercial cluster.
this is a smart idea!
Perhaps the current lack of marketing indicates that they don't need it. It may well be a commercial success already with chunks of time sold to top GMs, paid for by sponsors. Lots of small sales scattered over the calender might damage their ability to rent the cluster in chunks. Perhaps they need to add more hardware and automate more software before they can really start selling properly to many people.
Or perhaps it is not so powerful after all and putting it on Playchess would show it to be bad value for money.
Perhaps, perhaps perhaps... Sadly, no news means we just don't know!
