In that context, some news about the Houdini 3 development on the Houdini Facebook page:
"We've made some very good progress lately.
The current development version is about 40 Elo stronger than Houdini 2, and about 60 Elo stronger than Houdini 1.5.
The Houdini 3 release is scheduled for September 2012, but if development continues at this prosperous rate we may have to advance it :)."
