'practical best move',or just best move?
Nf7!?!
without making analisis,is my candidate move...the position claims for the sacrifice
Hehe, I don't believe you here. The position had been played numerous times before that game and no-one seems to have even considered Nxf7. In my view, Nxf7 comes totally out of the blue ... but it's most likely sufficient for a draw and won Topalov an important game.
It was his second idea (Cheparinov).
Yes, I remember Topalov said so. But it was him who profited from it. :)
Unfortunately his brilliance is going down of late. His play is comparable to Kasparov during his prime.
He is a great player, but nowhere near Kasparov.
well,if you know how i play correspondence chess, for sure you will trust me
that sacrifice is tipical
that sacrifice is tipical
Easy to say but during the time it is very hard to uncork.
im sure during a otb game, and with the game pressure,is too much difficult to find...even the same player, without the time pressure and all the other pressures, can easier find the best move when the game ends,in the post-mortem
i never told that was easy, and im not telling that was easy to play the combination,im just telling that Nxf7 looks natural, not more
