you can still come on-board as a seed if you already have 5 pieces or more. Simply save the torrent to your chess downloads and then open it with ctrl-d from inside utorrent and select your EGTB folder as the save directory. The after a check the seeding will start. You can even share from under your chess program folder, does not matter where.
EGTB are public domain, feel free to share widely.

with the new 5 piece download the cap is going to be hit faster, at least until more seeds accumulate
Add a German to the pile and the torrents are now slowly gaining speed.

Just started downloading 33 from another site. MD5s seems to be same, ETA 1.5 days.

Great. I have 5-piece TB which I generated myself back in 2007 using tbgen.exe
and it just took a little Excel help to rename files to see that they are identical with your torrent.

thanks, all of the torrents I posted are from the original distribution
given the popularity of 5 pieces, having lots of seeds means the next user can grab them real fast

for those interested in Gaviota tbs, there's someone seeded what he calls a full set on demonoid
I doubt there is much demand for them, the Nalimov EGTB have no license to worry about
