"The 10-core Ivy Bridge-EP/EX chip (LGA2011, 2P-capable) features 10 next-generation cores clocked at 2.80 GHz,
with 256 KB L2 cache per core,
30 MB shared L3 cache,
and HyperThreading technology that enables 20 logical CPUs.
This chip scores 41.78X relative speed in Fritz chess when just 8 of its 20 threads are put to use."
Old version of Fritzmark which is limited to 8 threads.
all Westmere is my machine
pictures of 8 of 10 core cpu Ivy Bridge Fritzmark off internet.
all other numbers of Ivy Bridge, just plugged in the math.
tell me if you see mistakes.
How close do you think this is?
I have no idea what the 20 core IVY Bridge SR-X will produce.
Based on these numbers it looks impressive.

Confused. Is this an actual 10 Ivy Bridge, or your speculation of what it will be like?

Here is the link Werewolf for the 10 core info.
Notice they used the 8 core limited software of Fritz.

Does Fritzmark take advantage of 64bits?
Parent - - By kgburcham (***) [us] Date 2012-03-03 00:52
It auto installs in the x86 folder, so I assume it is 32 bit.

Ic. So the extra 32bits are wasted by fritzmark
