Kim I think you have to find a copy of Vesely's opening book, I think it was on Megaupload so that is blocked at the moment. Critical move, according to the book but that has some idiosyncracies so that has to be checked, is 21... Bxa4(?!). That is as far as I have checked, there is probably a refutation from this point on in the book. I don't do correspondence chess or anything like that with it but I think it is a nice book to have! Worth the download time I had to try a few times before I got an intact copy. Recommended by some of the more fanatic players on this forum for some offbeat moves not found elsewhere. The link can be found on this forum, I think it is too big to just attach it here.

I think some would fine it interesting that he plays over at chess.com, I almost had him talked into play in the WBCCC. That would have been really interesting to say the least. It sounded like he was interested in releasing a 3rd version of his book, just not sure when he will.

19.Na4 is the critical move, far superior to 19.Qc2 and 19.Re1, both of which are quite drawish.  However this does not close the deal.  Black has a series of moves that offer better prospects than the main line:

19...Bc6 (not 19...Bf8)
20...Kb8 (not 20...Bc6)
21...Bg7 (not 21...Bxa4 or Kc7 or c3)

After Bxa4 I have black managing just one draw against dozens of losses, more than this book.

I played white in this game.
First time  I have seen this line.
First move out of book was about +9 for white.
Poor guy playing black could not believe it.
He had a commercial book he paid good money for.
I was aware he was not making best moves in his book.
Crazy line to be in book that deep.
thanks

why that guy want spend money on a commercial book,to play listed '?' moves on that commercial book?seems strange...if you pay for a commercial book,is supossed that you are going to play the best moves,or at least not the '?' moves of the book

>Crazy line to be in book that deep.

i must not agree with you about htat point;that line must be in the commercial book,(lets call that line a 'trap'),so the engine avoid to play it,and if the opponent plays it,the engines knows inmediately how to answer to his wrongs moves...

of course,is supossed that no one will play from the 'wrong' side of the wrong moves ( '?' ) of the book, and there are only to know how to answer if someone plays it

I haven't even looked at the position, but the book move 21...c3!! doesn't seem to jive with the results that it has returned over 321 games...
