I will be the main commentator this year. :smile: We can expect other great year. And if last year was any sign, then we can expect to see lots of great games.

One effect I am noticing with the conditionals is that it is making Nelson's stats harder to give because sometimes three or four opening moves can appear at the same time, rather than in 2011 where they would appear in a steady stream as players re-logged in and made their next move.

Now they can put in one long line of conditionals and they all appear in the same post move.

I pay no attention to conditionals.  I simply pick up the game where it happens to be when I look at it, sometimes looking back at where things went wrong if someone has taken a strange/bad path.

This is a weird feeling. I imagined that in being a player this year that for this round I would be analysing a game each day in one of my two games. So I am surprised that I have had at least three days with no moves from my opponents :surprised:

Well yes, then its a lacking feature in this software (which i have never seen), because in chess afaik you are allowed to resign any time.

The system seems to be running very well so far this year. I have only seen the server down once and that was just regular maintenance for the main server we play on for only about 30 minutes.

I hadn't realized it but with less players than last season and dynamic rounds starts the rounds are going to be shorter than I expected.
