Vytron?!?, this must have started some time ago, Hey Kam, did you ever hear the old saying "Let sleeping dogs lie."
Parent - - By Kamesh (***) [in] Date 2012-02-01 02:20
Scottie,
to keep the old feel, Uly created this thread with old names :)
Secondly, i heard of it.  Does it have reference to what i said to you at ficgs chat? :p (the sleeping scottie :p)
Parent - - By Scott (****) Date 2012-02-01 02:34
Yes, I only saw your post after you had left.

Btw, nice to see you crack the 2400 barrier after a long time at ficgs :)
This shows that you are all geared up :)  Also check the WCC waiting list :p

Opening  By Kamesh was OK, but Uly don't give up..  Go GO ... :-)
In my opinion It will be difficult to achieve a DRAW.

8. Nb3  I rather like 8. Qd2  and 12. Kb1 ..

You do have the potential Uly.  Coupled with the fact that I am not into serious chess unlike earlier.
You are a great player with lot many insights whereas I am a dumb who simply relies on machines (i hate letting my brain do some work :p)

Hi Jimmy, i do not compare games. May sound strange. But i take up each game on its own merit.  I may succumb, but i have this tendency of fighting it out till the last drop of blood (which is obviously missing since my comeback) :p

Parent - - By Kamesh (***) [in] Date 2012-02-18 17:09
Hey bro,
Dont you even think that I am forcing you to move. It's just that i might forget to notice that I have a game to finish with you :)
I started the corr. chess again and playing the WCH at FICGS.  Just taking my time.
Do concentrate on the WBCCC2 games as they are most important for you.  This can wait, if you want.
I can make my move straight away, but I will refrain from doing so.  Have a free go at the other important games bro :)
Good luck!
(Do not worry, i will make my move sooner as I have this tendency of being impatient :p)
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2012-02-18 17:16

> Do concentrate on the WBCCC2 games as they are most important for you.

My game against you, just like the other games that I'm playing at the corr chess section, are equally important. There's nothing special about tournament games, and I play all of them at the same quality (and if you don't believe me you can see my WBCCC game against omprakash in where I lost miserably - so I don't put more effort on them, or whatever). But the WBCCC games have a clock and I can't have the luxury of being low on time or losing on time.

>I can make my move straight away, but I will refrain from doing so.

Why? Move already, the only thing that annoys me is your falling sleep or getting bored of this game, that can stop, but move normally.
Parent - - By Kamesh (***) [in] Date 2012-02-18 17:20
Good to know that.
Already in bed :)
The clock is what i was talking about, though not mentioned :)
There is not even an iota of feeling that this game is boring.  I am expecting a stiff resistance from your end :)
Will make my move after cross-checking tomorrow:smile:

Novelty move.  Previously seen in Dudyev-Latas, 1/2-1/2, 2007.02.25 and Krakovsky-Muck, 0-1, 2009.03.25, both of which are undoubtedly in your correspondence game databases.  Both games continued with 19.c4.
