Trompowsky was actually the line I choosed in my debut last edition, where Fulcrum proved to have a vaste knowledge of main ideas in the opening. I have assigned some openings to play each player in this tournament with White, and Trompo is candidate opening in 3-4 cases.

IMO it is one of those openings where real results can clearly improve Nelson's statistics for White. It has not been analyzed very deep for computer chess, and there is some room to investigate. But it won't be done until more games are played...

agree...trompowsky atack i think is understimated,and must be analyzed more deeply;it only has a very little written theory

i see...i offered my bishop as a 'present' to double my pawns (again)and being able with my 2 open columns start an atack,but he smartly refused it,so i cant start...

so is time to start maneuvers to define the game:he will must choose between play active and go for fin(with risk to losse),or play passive and play for draws

but i think it can be too much more interesting for theory if he accepted the bishop and doubled again my pawns,so we can see if i can manage to win with the right maneuvers to atack or even lost me the game
