I think if you are going to beat Paul as white you have to try something besides 1.e4 e5 he is pretty good at this defense. Hints why if we play in WBCCC I'll probably go with 1.Nf3 or d4

Yeah, these positions are really problematic (and I find impressive the huge difference that it makes that I can't play Qb6 here!) and I really don't like the move I'm playing, but I couldn't find anything better...

I was just looking at my book for a minute. It was an untested move so I can't say for sure if its best or not. Paul would probably want to look at it.

if Uly played 13...Rb8, Paul can answer 14.f5,Qb6 15.Qf3,Qc5  and now the 2 white's rooks are connected and ready to atack the black king,that is unprotected
