i was considering that move for you, seems interesting...maybe be Nelson can give us statistics about that move

I am in the midst of a major database restructuring right now; it'll be days before I have a current book. I'll keep this game in mind, though.
thanks.
15.d5 was a novelty move.
thanks Nelson, only good enough for draw though.

i wondered which move you would play,a6 looked a bit passive.
agree...maybe 'b4' is a bit risky,but i dont like passive lines,that is why i decided for the move 'b4'
i can get my pawn back and then because of heavyweight pieces i think game will fizzle out to a draw.
yes,now come a semi-forced line where you can get your pawn back, and surely the game goes into a drawish endgame...but from my analisis, the endgame will derive me having 3 pawns at the queen side against 2 from you,and you having 3 pawns at your king side against 2 of me,BUT,bishops of the same colour...maybe that will make the endgame interesting, even if it finish in a draw

mmmm...time to think Paul.now i have 2 options:the very risky, and i dont know if i can hold it,or force draws by continuous check (you must accept if you wouldnt go into a weaker position),so please,be patient with me
as i said before, take your time.
Since this is an exhibition match I would go for the risky choice.
I think exhibition matches should be taken as seriously as if rating points were at stake.
Of course this is taken seriously as why we need to spend our time and resources if we will just clown around

Hi
i usually always take the risky choice, but now,at our game, the risky choice gives me not advantage, and gives Paul lot of advantage, and i must play for draws all the game, without any chance of win...so play one risky choice, for none compensation, and give the initiative to your opponent and me playing for the draws all the game, and with the risk to lose the game,i think is a suicidal idea;if only that risky move gave me a few chances to win,be sure i will play it,but it doesnt give me any chance,0

I see so its not a risky choice but a suicidal choice!
right
is sad,but i must play for draws Paul...the other mainly moves gives you advantage with none compensation to me,and in a long term plans,i must play for draws, but you having advantage, and in some lines, even one more pawn...so i must choose the (i think) semi-forced line that gaves me draws
22.Bc5
22.Bc5
i thought this was only realistic move you could play.
right...that is why i declined play all the other moves, doesnt give me any chances, and gives you advantage, and sounds stupid for me go inside a line where i know i will must play for draw without any option to win

now is a forced line starting with Bxf2+,where i endly have the perpetual check that i told you a few moves ago
we played a quick game,and again,a draw...
would you like that we play another game until WBCCC 2 starts?

i want a break now,we have had some good games and your great play has stopped me overestimating my chances in unusual openings.I have learnt a lot from your play and believe you will do well in WBCCC 2012.
Till we meet again good luck.
Till we meet again good luck.
ok Paul, till we will meet at WBCCC 2,good luck my friend
i think maybe 10.Rd1 was not best move and maybe pawn exchange would have been better,i will never find out as i will never play this line again.Lookup says pawn exchange is very drawish and i tend to agree, however lookup is based on GM games and is a guide only,we are playing at a level above this.Just my take.
agree...10,cxd5 seems interesting, even if opening book doesnt agree with it,and doesnt like that move...games based only on Gm games only, has the weakenes that, like you said,we are playing at a level above this, and that games (GM games),sometimes has opening wholes because they doesnt played it with engines the opening...yes,the pawn exchange seems drawish, but it require time to analisis, and that opening isnt the opening i usually play,so i wont waste that lot of time analizing it
