I lost a game in WBCCC, against parmetd with this opening:

1. c4 Nf6 2. d4 g6 3. Nc3 Bg7 4. e4 d6 5. Nf3 O-O 6. Be2 e5 7. d5 a5 8. Bg5 h6 9. Be3 Ng4 10. Bc1 f5 11. exf5 gxf5 12. g3 Na6

I would like to have a match once again to improve my lines.. Anybody?

I'd be happy to take up the challenge, as I play these lines with Black.

Great... where would you like to start? Somewhere in the middle or after the last move that I have put in?
Parent - - By Schachmatt (****) [us] Date 2011-11-23 16:43
After the last move.  The move's subsequent to 8...h6 are Black's best.

Your move.

Sorry about the delay.  Thanksgiving, chess tournament and no free or inexpensive internet access!  My worst tournament result ever, probably one of the only people who can say they lost or drew to 3 kids rated 1975+ quite likely no older than 8-10 years.  I had forgotten the rigors of long controls and the importance of concentration, I do try to study more diligently and efficiently than most, but sometimes there is little substitute for experience.  Anyway, I'll make move shortly!

No problemo and don't worry, there will be more tournaments to come!

On 14...f4, I prefer Qc2, followed by Re1, Bh5, Kh1, f3, and Rg1 in some order.

My apologies for lack of a response.  Had a few personal issues that I had to take care of, but once these were resolved, I should have notified you that I could resume play.  Anyway, I will make a move this evening and if still interested, we shall continue.

Sure, I have the time to make good moves now.  Will make my move in a few hours.

btw, Kh1 is a novelty acc. to chesslive.de

and I didn't play the lines with ...Na6 because the plans with h3 and g4 are difficult analyze with an engine --- or find a plan for black --- and white scores well in practice.

and i think i avoided 14...f4 which was played in the other game b/c of Qc2 which i probably already said. [actually i didn't... it's interesting but some stuff with Bf3-h5-g6 deterred me from playing the line]
