I am still having problems watching the Rybka games on www.chessok.com or using the chessplanet client. The client tells me "the connection was refused by the host" or something similar. I have used this client previously(2 days ago), it was fine.

My Internet connection seems to be fine otherwise.

Anyone else having similar problems and found any solutions?

PS. can't ping 81.176.67.146 and can't access www.chessok.com either. All other sites seems to be ok.

Why bother with the hassle when you can watch it on chessbase com.

yes, right. I am watching the games on ICC.

But it would been fun to see Larry's running comments on chessplanet.

as pointed out in other topics, chessplanet has some advantages like automatic display of rybka (and zappa) evaluations and of course Larry (and Vas) commenting the games.

That's strange. I can't imagine why you can't access chessok.com - it works fine here. Maybe you can try again and look if it was just a temporary problem?

The problem really exists for some people. But the programmer has no answer a while. He researches logs what can be wrong.

I think it's related to the Java version the client is using. I had a similar problem some years back with YahooChess.

This seems to be a new problem.  I have never had trouble before when watching games at ChessPlanet.

I have the same problem too! It started several days ago since New Year.  Similar to what happen at move 55 between Rybka and Benjamin.   But it's working fine now and hopefully forever :)

Oh no.. Now I can't connect to chessplanet again...  something must be wrong... Maybe convekta made some changes since newyear...
