This is great that we have people like you and Michael Waesch doing this.
I wonder if it might be even better if there was a separation on your server between games derived from, say, the Playchess room or ICC or other channels such as CEGT or CCRL testing that could easily contain duplicates if people send in these games compared with private games from private engine tournaments and matches on one's computer, i.e. that are unavailable anywhere else? I guess I'm wondering about the idea of creating one room for games in which there may be duplicates versus another room that has only private individual games.
Happy New Year!

Is Mike's website still available?
Yes, I downloaded from it a few weeks ago; it is very helpful.
Can you please provide the link?
Cheers, Graham.
Cheers, Graham.
Thanks. Much appreciated! :-)
Hi Turbo,
The section on the website entitled Other Engine Games will include subtitles such as ICC, Engine Tournaments Games such as Paderborn etc.
I really appreciate your ideas and will strive to offer what the engine vs engine players want.
Happy New Year

I've already started my web page there and as soon as I am able to upgrade my motherboard and get some suggestions as to what motherboard would be good-even if the suggestion goes private message-I've looked at just about all the ASUS boards and am afraid that they are going obsolete.
sidserious-in fear of obsolescences-one day you're in the top ten next thing you're 10 pages in back of pack, Jack!
P.S. Norm! I am looking forward to getting to know you! What time is lunch?

Hi sidserious,
Sorry it took so long to get back to you, just go back in town late this afternoon.
When you say you have already started you web page, are you talking about freewebs.com?
On motherboards I run 2 ASUS P5B Deluxe mobos, one for the Intel Dual and the other for the intel Quad.
I know these boards are dated now, but i have had no issues. The motherboard is the heart of the system
spend the money there first.
If you are ever in Charlotte, NC lunch is on me.
Thanks
Norm

Hi Norm,
Thank for your input. I appreciate. It doesn't matter that they are dated, I am getting a sense of what kinds of boards that are used. Otherwise, I don't know what is acceptable. You've helped me a lot-thank you. As soon as I get back on my feet I will have to go done south and see all my favorite folks- That's a date.
