Oh ok here is who I need for testers. And whoever relies first will get there chance.
I need at least 2 people that are Aquarium users and 2 guys that would be willing to use the chessplanet server. Those who reply I will give info to first. The Xxfc maybe ready but they want to test this first.

Chessplanet for me
Oh ok I will go a head and say we still need 2 more guys. As I will test it with you.
I have not used chessplanet before for playing my own games, so I think I might need some help to find your conditional challenge once you have made it.
I'm about to send you a PM.
Looks like it works on Chess Planet server!!

How do you get to it. I found 3 conditional games but can't enter them.
You need to go to the ones we are playing in.
How do I give conditionals? Everytime I make a move, the game disappears.
Make a sires of moves on the board than hit the make move offer line button. Its in the same place.
The current system, at least using chessplanet, is not a conditional move system.
In a normal conditional move system, Player A would make their move, and would then enter a variation that they think is best. Player B then makes their own move. If Player B's move is the same as the move Player A made in PA's choice of conditional variation, then Player A's next move is made automatically. If PB's move is different, then the game returns to normal and it is up to PA to make another move.
Conditionals are quite often used when a player captures a piece, or expects a capture, and so enters the re-capture as their conditional. This saves time in the game and moves it along.
Therefore Indrajit, do not rush to try out the current system. It will not be what is in place when WBCCC 2012 is underway. Either a true conditional system is implemented, or we will play without conditionals.

Thanks for the input Garvin.
This is really cool! I get to see my conditional moves after making it, on a list!

I want to test it using Xfccc.
I'm now in a test match vs Om
I did another test. If you accidentally make a move you don't want. All you have to do is delete that move! No pro and it will confirm to make sure that is the line you want to play. Now this is my view with the chessplanet client. I can't comment yet on Aquarium side of it. Will need to wait for guys like Geroge, Jose, Moz, etc... Guys I know who like to test these kind of things.

Will you be able to setup another match for me then?
Yeah I can. I can ask him to make the match now. And you got a couple of choices.
1. Wait until the Xxcfplay comes out and you can make your moves then.
2. If you say you would use it. I can just make a short video on how to login and get into the games its pretty straight forward.

In the second option - do you mean using through chessplanet?
yeah
I need to install that application. Do you have a link to it? BTW I am in New Jersey for the next two weeks.. and I will be in your timezone
Don't bother. I got the link.
Wow that was quick. Match is ready.
Oh ok so far I would say the one the thing you need to do that I didn't see. Is that you have to accept the line by hitting an accept button. And at least on the chessplanet server you could see your opperents line if it was offer so, they will need to look at this. But overall I think is was very good anyway.
I just think the conditionals should be invisible (your opponent doesn't know you're playing them) and be auto-accepted one by one by playing moves on the board, since the idea is to speed up games not affecting the games (as in, that conditional line is better than what I'm expecting, so I'll accept it instead of what I was planning.)
It's very promising!
It's very promising!
I think it is very obvious that conditionals have to be invisible. If they are not, then that function should be disabled and certainly not used for WBCCC 2012. In my two test games with TheHug, TheHug's conditional after his first move was showing, which I thought was wrong to show that information.
That certainly needs to be removed otherwise conditionals can not be used.
Looking further in chessplanet, after I have inputted my first move ie the current position move, and then go ahead and put in a conditional for the next couple of moves, the confirm move button says- make move and offer line.
What that seems to imply is that I am offering my opponent a choice of whether to accept my moves, or not. That seems to go against the spirit of conditionals and is almost against the laws of chess as it gives information to the opponent.
It even asks me if I wish to accept a line played by TheHug. Unfortunately if this is how conditionals have been designed in chessplanet, they need to be re-designed. Conditionals can not be used as they currently are from what I can work out.

What, why?
Could you please be more specific with your questions? To what and why are you referring to?
> That seems to go against the spirit of conditionals and is almost against the laws of chess as it gives information to the opponent.
What is this spirit you are speaking of and where are such conditionals used?
ICCF postal rules:
f. Proposals of conditional continuations are binding until the recipient makes a different move from that proposed.
g. Any accepted continuation move shall be correctly repeated with the reply.
h. When no reply is made to an accepted conditional continuation it shall be treated as an illegible move.
ICCF Server rules:
a. Conditional moves are not allowed in webserver games.

Fully agreed.
TheHug, I will not be continuing our games at this stage as we are not testing a conditional move system. When it is re-worked, then I am happy to play test games again.
I already resigned them.
So Should I resign them or we play ?
Have there been any improvements on the conditional move system? If not, who should I speak to about improving it?

Are you saying I should contact Victor, or that this is Victor's reply to the topic?
I'm saying Victor is looking into the Xxfcplay client and we will continue to be in contact until its done right.
I have made my moves with conditionals!
Oh ok, it looks like the new system works. I will try to hit into your conditionals
not for me in xfccplay it is not.
Hows it not?
Jimmy can you post a quick instruction on how to send a conditional from Aquarium?
it will be the same for you or me. Just make a line on the board ex. 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 a6 etc... And hit "make move"
Hi Jimmy, i assume i'm going to try out the new conditionals.
Send a message to Dadi to make a match, We don't have to make anything serious. Just have to play long enough for you to understand it and then end the game in a draw.
Hi Jimmy, can you set me up a match to try this out. I will be away on Friday untill the new year with no internet connection.
As Jimmy says, but if you are using the latest XfccPlay that comes with Aquarium, then first you need to select Allow variations in the Options menu.
