Hi,

I am trying to setup an instance of the Rybka 4 engine on a separate Windows 2000 SP4/Intel Pentium 4 to run as a networked engine (extra computer that I had laying around). While trying to debug why RTSingleServer.exe returns "Engine Not Found", I discovered that the Rybka 4 Engine will not run on this computer. When I run "Rybka 4 w32.exe" from the command console, it returns the following error:
Rybka 4 w32.exe is not a valid win32 application.

This engine was from my Deep Rybka 4 Aquarium DVD. I copied it from the following installed directory: C:\Aquarium4Data\Engines\Rybka\1-cpu\w32 which was where I originally installed Deep RA on my Windows Vista SP2, Intel Core 2 Duo x64 platform.

Then I tried a clean install of Deep Rybka 4 Aquarium on the Windows 2000 platform. Aquarium runs but the engine status for the Deep Rybka 4 w32 engine is marked with a red X. Running "Verify" on it does not seem to help.

The Aquarium documentation (both paper and electronic) indicate that Windows 2000 is a supported platform.

Any ideas to solve this problem?

Rybka 4 doesn't support Windows 2000.
