Currently the focus is on WBCCC and making sure that it runs smoothly. I think it's good to take a little break and see how the first rounds go before deciding on the next steps. The current setup is not suitable for ad hoc games.

I think the pace of advancement is great so far. I think the time will be soon we will soon see something like it. I think you and I both know Victor will get more than a thank you for his great work in the end. There are some that want to donate there money back to the cause. Plus as you know I plan to throw some money his way as well.

bytheway Yesterday I found this chessok.com has quite cool flash type Web chess application which gives you play LIVE directly on site!

But players were very few there.

Can we not use that code here on Rybkaforum?

What she doesn't know is that the xcffplaying client would be the playing platform. And then it would get beam back here. That is the best way to do it. There will be more advancements as time goes on when it comes to what it looks like. The guy who helps with chessok is the same one that made the client as far as I know. So it maybe possible to get that look down the line.

XcffPlay is great but it's commercial, only the WBCCC players and people with Aquarium have it, I think we'd need a solution that all the forum population can get (e.g. for new members that join the forum and want to have a game).

Thats kind of the point Ive been trying to make between the lines. I want to make a yearly donation so the point you made doesnt matter. If they have something to show for it. Than they probably wouldnt mind.
