Yes 2011 is going to be interesting. We will see how well Rental Rybka does.
As for me, I hope everyone will drop in and watch the great games that will go on over at WBCCC! I know they are not well know Super GM's, but they do play great chess. They will be playing with a new program for corr chess here. So it should be very interesting. It will be the first tournament ever on the Rybka Forum

I don't think Corr chess gets very much credit. You can bet they will know it after this tournament is over. I've already made a lot of good head way with it.

Per your information and anyone else drinking champagne and who desire to save whatever Champagne might be left - do not put the cork back into the bottle. For better preservation leave it open but chilled in a refrigerator ! Of course the best solution is just drink it all up!
i also wish every member of the forum a happy and prosperous new year.i have settled down with a glass of Ardberg and a Montecristo no 2,my fav cuban.

Correct.
My profile puts me in Kansas. I have never been there.

I seem to remember that one Pacific Island Nation changed their time zone so they could be the first country in the world to celebrate the new year. This tactic got them a lot of money, as a lot of rich trendy partiers traveled there in order to celebrate the new year.
I once celebrated New Years in Bayside Florida. Ini contrast to the New York celebration of dropping a ball, they raised a giant Orange. They made fun of New Yorkers with the motto, "In Florida, we get it up!
I don't know if you can mix metaphors like that! Balls on that!
I uses to go to Time Square on New Years! I always had a great time! Lots of fun- It is one big unified party spirit!
