I wonder if during this season the Turkey's have learned to run for cover, taking lesson from the Deer.

My turkey is in the oven as I write.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanks Giving??!!! Wow....how this year just flew-by! Hmm, there's something about the 'origins of thanks giving' which prevents me from celebrating it. And this picture with a certain American race/tribal reminds of it. Hmmm, I wonder what that could be preventing me from celebrating Thanks-Giving?

 I recognize that to the purest the pic is  politically incorrect- as some women would be offended over wearing a bra. But I'm not making any political statement here or turn Thanksgiving into anything more than a time to be thankful and even cats and dogs can get along. :yell:

With that kind of logic, it would be difficult to celebrate most nationalistic holidays.  Admittedly, the natives should have the let the bastards starve.  They got screwed.  They've extracted plenty of justice from me at the blackjack tables.  My conscious is clear; I sleep like a baby every time I stay the night in one of their luxury hotels...

Just not on Thanks-Giving Days  All other holidays don't have (AFAIK) some sort of ethnic controversies like the Thanks-Giving holidays.

Some people are not really fond of Columbus Day...

Yes, this is another controversial(?) one. Ha!...the list goes on and on....

Whenever an American asks me if we have Thanksgiving in UK I reply, "Yeah, September 6th, the date that the Mayflower finally got under way."

Happy Thanksgiving.

For the real story of Thanksgiving, see the following article:

Hi, sidserious. How does the cornucopian glory of the free market versus the poverty and famine of socialism, which is the real story of Thanksgiving, remind you of John Nebel?
