Thank you!
I have just made some interesting statistics between w32-x64 / 1CPU-4CPUs
Really a lot of speed up difference !!

Thanks dear Ruben !
What about overclocking-i mean the speed of GHz ?
Sorry...
4.6 GHz HT OFF
4.6 GHz HT OFF
I see TBs are ON,i think you can get higher kN/s results if you disable them (during the bench)
Best,
Sedat

Yes, you are right, but it is the best performance for an I7 980x.
Will have more kn/s in the future... ;-)

thats fast,as fast as my 2x 5680/s on air at 4.3 can you run this 24/7.i had to drop to 4.2 for 24/7 use.
Hello Paul
I run 24/7:
920 4 GHz Air
950 4.2 GHz Air
980x 4.4 GHz Water
Xeons 5650 4.2 GHz Air

thanks, its what i thought.think i will scrap my Skully although it has been brilliant over last couple of years,Majid agrees with me but technology moves on.still thinking on next move.money is not unlimited but i do have lots of fun.
i think BigBen could get even higher if he put his mind to it,doubt it would be stable though and even if it is,he can pick his own electric bill up.
No.
The limit for x5680 stable is 4.2 GHz on mobo EVGA SR-2 and air cooling.

yep we know.

I can and I do lmao http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1378774
but its something that does not really interest me, when we do your next build Paul we can put up numbers
Regards
Why did you not post the KNS ..... Is it chilled or sub-zero .... Maybe it is one of newer steppings that we been hearing of

Very good! Coincidentally yesterday I saw a Brazilian site that sells a 12
cores with Intel Xeon X5650. They sell like Workstation.

how did you know if TBs are on? is it the letter T before the move?
Yes
no new chips 4.4ghz on air
!
Thanks Sujay!
Thanks Sujay!
better go on water then on next build, thanks suj.
so. if i run rybka on infinite analysis using fritz11, and there's no T before a move, my EGTB isnt working?
If put the bench position with egtb, i think you will see T before a move.
>4.6 GHz HT OFF
Ok...i will add your result in the next web update
Greetings,
Sedat
Thank you very much!
Here is something odd: in the Aquarium interface the engine runs +/- 10% slower than in the Chessbase interface?!
Has anyone found similar results?
Has anyone found similar results?
Search the forum (or any other computer chess forum) for answers to questions about differences between the speed of engines in different GUIs. In short, if you use exactly the same settings (hash size, sampled search, priority etc. etc.) the same engine will run at the same speed in all interfaces. There is/was a bug in some CB software causing kN/s to be calculated incorrectly and such bugs might of course indicate differences between GUIs, but there is no real difference.
>Here is something odd: in the Aquarium interface the engine runs +/- 10% slower than in the Chessbase interface?!
Really ?,currently Aquarium GUI is not installed on my computers, that's why i have no idea
Best,
Sedat
Can you run it in DOS prompt and check the speed. I am assuming you are using the same positions in both the interfaces. If so, check the speed in DOS without any interface and see if it matches with either.
Hello Sedat!
Can you refresh your lists?
I don´t see the updates.

And very soon i plan to publish your superior results

Crafty 22.8 Bench:
http://sedatchess.110mb.com/index.php?p=1_12
Some Notes:
------------
-The current Crafty 22.8 version does not work well on high CPUs machines (e.g 12 core...)
-Even all Crafty 22.8 compiles on 12 core machines (JA,PS,DC) do not scale well too
-In this case, unfortunately i can't continue to work on the current Crafty benchmark list
