what position were you analysing? the start position in chess?

How much hash were you using?

After how long did you have 350 kn/s?

Why don't you print out your analysis - more info needed

yes, the start position. I use 512 Mo to hash and for the time, it's three minutes but i keep to 350 kn/s.
how can i print my analysis here ? sorry, i 'm not very strong in computer!

Rightclick in the Engine pane,  >copy analysis  and then paste it here (rightclick  >paste) that's all.

is this overclocked or just a stock benchmark?

Is there a "copy analysis" in the engine area? How come I don't have it?
Parent - - By Akbarfan (***) [de] Date 2010-11-01 19:26
In Fritz GUI - i don't have Aquarium, but it will similar, maybe other members can explain this exactly.

I don't have it in my Fritz GUI. All I have is - "copy to notation" - which puts the latest analyzed line(s) into the notation window.

Sorry, i mean of course >clip analysis<, not copy analysis - my mistake, more than a typo. :red:

Then you have it in your Clipboard and you can paste it in every Editor - also here.

i have chessbase and i can't copy but all informations are here.
I'm going to see parameters but i don't know if i can win kn's with that.

I'm sorry but i don't understand very well, i try a position in opening, with 5 variations, and i have 750 kn/s!!!!! with this same position and 1 variation i have 440 kn/s.
It's better 5 variations than 1 variation, why ? we can't have 750 kn/s with 1 variation ??
Parent - - By ernest (****) [fr] Date 2010-11-02 20:02
You know that kn/s depend on the position Rybka is analysing.
So in your multi-variation analysis, the program analyses different moves, leading to different positions, and there are probably positions where the kn/s are faster.

What is the initial position you are analysing?

i have a phenom 4 core and usually pull around 250 kns- i use 2500 mb, is this going over board? i also would like to know about moves that are red in engine matches notation, you know, most are black and you get a few red some times, what does it mean? is the move possibly a bad one? hoping a knowledgeable person can help me...

Rightclick on move:

Special Annotation

  Critical Opening Position     Blue
  Critical Middlegame Position  Red
  Critical Endgame Position     Green

explain in Help menu.

i've never seen green or blue moves so your saying red means a critical middle game move?
Parent - By Akbarfan (***) [de] Date 2010-11-04 09:53
red means critical middlegame POSITION
blue appears in Opening phase and
green appears in Endgame

see further in Help Menu
it's nothing more to say.
