Don't worry, Rybka would do that regardless of setup, it depends on hash contents but it's the reason I deem it as unreliable.
I don't know the reason, sometimes those weird looking blunders would win the game so Rybka looks for them, I recall it was speculated that they're caused by code left out to make the Remote version more tasty.
Hi,
I noticed you have the evaluation and depth turned off but my guess would be at blitz that for whatever reason you would show a low ply search at that move

Hi, evaluation and depth turned off ? do you mean expected move so on?

Yes, you used to include evaluations until end of 2008 and then you switched them off early 2009. Not in the good spirit expected in the the Playchess Engine Room. Read the guidelines. Surprised Phil Harris has not blanked you out.

Etiquette:
1. It is considered appropriate to enter the technical data of your own hardware under “Personal Information“. (Menu Edit-> User Data-> Personal Information).
2. Please make sure that your program sends its assessment and calculation depth during the game (to be adjusted under “Playing Mode>>Send Evaluations“).
3. If you notice that you have a strong lag (to be measured by pinging the server with the “Ping Button“), you should refrain from short-time rated games.

Where would I find these guidelines regarding etiquette in the playchess engine room?
I would also point out that if it is 'expected' that you show your evaluation then why are you provided with the option to disable/enable this feature?

After you log into the engine room click the Info TAB and check out the guidelines in there.

You don't have to, just as you do not have to shake hands with your opponent before an across the board game but it is considered good etiquette to do so. There are good manners and bad manners. The choice is yours but some nicks will set you to ignore if don't send evals.

OOOPs i see this now in log on screen
I have just seen this thread. I do ask in my profile for people who chose not to send evaluations not to challenge me, but I also understand that people do not often read profiles.
The information about what is considered good manners is on the page that appears every time I log into the engine room. I am not sure why you cannot find it.
I have added you to my ignore list. Please be aware that it might cause your computer to lock up if you challenge me, so to avoid that happening you will need to put me on ignore also.

Done. Thank you.
Thank you Phil, you are a gental man
To compare the playchess engine room with anything that has to do with sportmanship or etiquette is very shortsighted, at best.
You have to judge it from your own experience but most of those who chat in the engine room seem to be friendly enough. Take it or leave it but don't rain on other's enjoyment.

I'm not raining on anyones enjoyment ,i'm just stateing a point in fact.So don't get your little feelings hurt by takeing my post as a personal afront.Such was not my intent.
I interpreted your attack to be on Chessbase and maybe the engine room not me but I see no facts only emotion.

You see wrong.
IMHO this can happen to ANY engine. Actually Stockfish 1.9 (my slow CPU, SP) evaluates the position after 50. Bc5 as a draw until depth 17 where it realises that Bc5 was losing. It depends on how much time it spent before making that move. I'm sure that after longer thinking the engine would reconsider and play a different move. And yes, Vytron is right, it has to do with hash contents (which has to do with move ordering). That instant Qg2 has to do with that. But that doesn't mean that the engine immediately knows that Qg2 is better than Bc5 (more precisely, that Bc5 loses) with hash table clear, it simply chooses to play Qg2 which evaluates to 0.0 and any other move that scores <= 0.0 is only searched with a null window to prove that it's not better than Qg2 ... (the current pv).The engine might as well pick any other move that scores 0.0 in that position. At higher depths it either confirms that it was the best move or chooses another. This was simply bad luck for you I'm afraid
