Btw, are "conditional moves" allowed in this tournament? E.g. "If my opponent plays (move) then I automatically respond with (move)?
Parent - - By FICGS (**) [fr] Date 2010-12-04 13:20
I have no idea... I guess no.

Of course it is fine. Vytron who more or less help start this match. Wouldn't made you using conditionals in this game. I'm hopeful more people use them in my tournament.

By the way I subject that the next person make his move on my post. This is starting to get crunched.

I don't know what the eval's are for this game. But by chance this ends in a draw and the match ends in a draw. One can think that the WBCCC could be a good tie-break .
Parent - - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2010-12-08 10:28
I talked about the issue with FICGS, there are at least two game results that could be changed if appealed, and that I could appeal them if he felt the results as written are unfair.

But he told me that being a friendly match, the result doesn't matter as much as the games created,  the motivation and time put into them, and the fun we've had (I loved my game against William T., and I deem it my first competitive game while the other ones have been on the hobby side). If this game ends in a draw I would be happy to accept the match result without tie-breaks.

The WBCCC seems very exciting, I've been practicing with the black pieces for a long while, and like my record with them, I hope it'll pay off.

Hi guys, this game has been going for too long, the moves have been being posted in a manner so sporadic that I'm afraid it would be over in a few years.

I was wondering if you would consider it a draw and shake hands, so we can go on with our lives and not have a FICGS Vs. Rybka Forum match forever unfinished.
- - By Garvin Gray (****) Date 2012-05-19 15:05
I think it is safe to say this game can be aborted, which will bring to an end this match. I had not even realised this was still going. I think 1 year between moves is a bit extreme
Parent - By turbojuice1122 (Gold) [us] Date 2012-05-19 15:11
I bet that at that time control, Fritz 5.32 on 1 core can get a draw against Houdini on 12 cores.
Parent - By Uly (Gold) [mx] Date 2012-05-20 01:21
Game aborted, and now I can tally the match result, if I recall correctly we drew the match!
