How do I transfer correctly my chessbase games from one computer to another. I thought just email and then incorporate into rybka but what is the correct extensions ect. .cba seems the largest and obviously I have the chessbase extension on my other machine. Thanks.

The easiest way is to archive the database or export the games to PGN.

I think the question was about what files he has to copy. The answer is all of them, otherwise archive or export to PGN then he only has to deal with one file.

Ok.

But with Dropbox you just copy and paste the folder to dropbox and it appears on your other computers and is automatically backed up online :wink:

the archived database was correct. I just emailed that database back to my other computer. Worked well. Thanks
